Data We Collect

We collect the following information to operate the service:

  • Anonymous device ID — a randomly generated UUID stored on your device and in our database to manage your quota and subscription.
  • Android hardware ID — your device’s Android ID, used to prevent duplicate account creation across reinstalls. Stored in our database.
  • Search location — the address or coordinates you search are sent to our backend and to Google Places API to retrieve nearby places. Not stored long-term.
  • Saved places — places you bookmark are stored in our database linked to your anonymous device ID.
  • Credit balance — number of search credits remaining, stored in our database.
  • Purchase tokens — Google Play purchase tokens stored permanently to verify purchases and prevent duplicate credit grants.
  • Analytics events — anonymised usage events (e.g. searches performed, features used) logged to improve the service.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any directly personally identifiable information.

How We Use It

  • Providing place search and discovery features
  • Managing your credit balance, subscription, and saved places
  • Verifying in-app purchases and preventing fraudulent duplicate claims
  • Preventing fake account creation (Android ID)
  • Improving the app through anonymised analytics

We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

Third-Party Services

Google Places API & Maps — fetches nearby place data and displays maps. Google Privacy Policy

Google Play Billing — handles all payments. We do not store payment card details. Google Privacy Policy

Supabase — backend database hosting. Data is stored in EU/US region servers. Supabase Privacy Policy

In-App Purchases

The app offers a Premium subscription and one-time credit packs (100, 250, or 1,000 credits). All billing is handled by Google Play. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime via the Google Play Store.

Data Storage & Security

Your device ID, Android ID, search quota, saved places, usage analytics, and purchase records are stored in our secure cloud database (Supabase, EU/US). We apply industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections and access controls. Data is retained for as long as your account is active.

Data Deletion

To request deletion of all data associated with your device, contact us. You can also clear local data at any time by uninstalling the app.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
