Last updated: 28 August 2026

Trulien (“we”, “us”) operates the website trulien.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and your choices. To contact us about privacy or to exercise any of your rights, use our contact page.

What we collect

  • Information you send us through a form, the chat assistant, or by email: your name, work email address, company, and the content of your message.
  • Website usage data through Google Analytics: pages viewed, referring pages, browser and device type, and approximate location derived from a truncated (anonymised) IP address.
  • Server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics.

We do not run advertising trackers and do not build marketing profiles of visitors.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry and provide the information or demo you requested, to keep the website secure, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Our lawful bases are: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, our legitimate interests, your consent for analytics where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site secure and working. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies (IP anonymised). You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or through your browser settings, with no effect on your use of the site.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that process it on our instructions (website hosting, business email, and Google Analytics) and with authorities where the law requires it. Our hosting and email providers store data in the European Union; Google Analytics may transfer data to the United States under the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses.

LinkedIn

We manage Trulien’s LinkedIn presence, including posts scheduled through the LinkedIn API using our own authorised accounts. LinkedIn data is used only to publish and manage our own content, in line with LinkedIn’s API Terms of Use. We do not collect or store the personal data of other LinkedIn members through this.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless a longer period is required for legal reasons or an ongoing client relationship. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for up to 14 months. Server logs are kept on a short rolling basis.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us through our contact page. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country of residence.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above shows the current version.
